I would like to thank my friend for letting me borrow this adapter for testing. I currently own the EVGA UV+ which has shown results that are far from desired. Before I fully test this new adapter, I have done a unboxing to show you what you can expect to see in the box if you also choose to purchase this model. A full test of its capabilities and a comparison to the UV Plus+ will follow shortly after.
I was sitting on the train today playing some games on the N5 when a lady sat down on the seat across from me. After a few minutes I noticed her staring in my direction so as I looked up I gave her a friendly smile. As she smiled back she questioned me as to where I “got it from“. I assumed she was talking about the N5 so i told her about the online site dynamism.com. She then continues to question its price where I answered roughly $1000AUD. She was shocked and said that cost more than the device itself and that it “wasn’t worth it“. I was so confused at her statement, what was she talking about?
UPDATE
The dates on Dynamism have changed, the 3g version’s shipment is expected to be on the 15th instead of the 19th. So for those of you who purchased the 3g version, we may be getting them a few days earlier. Only a few more days to go.
Had to stay up until 3am in Australia to pre-order the Viliv N5 from Dynamism. Made sure to get in early so I could get one from the first batch of units being sent out. It has been a long time since I was so excited for any mobile gadget, the last time being the release of the first generation iPhone. I really can’t wait for the 19th to come any sooner; being the expected shipping date. I will hopefully be posting a quick unboxing followed by a lot of hands on demonstrations.
If you have been following the tech scene, then you should have already had a glimpse of what the new iPhone will look like. For those of you who havn’t already seen it, Apple today officially showcased their long awaited iPhone 4 at the WWDC in San Francisco.
Apple showed off their new piece of tech with a ton of new and exciting features. Firstly with an upgraded design, where the internals are sandwiched between two hardened plates of aluminosilicate glass with a stainless steel trim which stretches around the outer edges which acts as the phone’s radio antennae. At a mere 9.3mm, the iPhone 4 is 24 percent thinner than its predecessor; the iPhone 3GS. Referred to by Apple as the “retina display”, the LCD screen boasts a 960×640 high resolution display with 326 pixels per inch and a contrast ratio of 800:1.

I have been longing to replace my ancient netbook with a new UMPC for a long time. Since news of the UMID M1 came out I was sure that it was going to be the perfect replacement, however as the release got closer and the specs were released, the upgrade didn’t seem to be all that great and reading about the numerous complaints about the hinge issue ensured that I would not invest my money into the M1.
