USB to VGA Adapter Tested With the Viliv N5 With UPDATED Results
A more successful attempt of using the USB to VGA adapter with the Viliv N5 for watching videos on an external monitor.

I downloaded the CLVDPack800410.exe from http://www.dvbsupport.net/download/index.php?act=view&id=170 and used it with Madia Player Classic and VLC player. I’ll post the exact setting I used when I get home.

I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but someone is getting pretty good external monitor video (no slideshow effect) on their Viliv N5. I’m wondering what they did differently. Take a look:

Posted: Dec 11th, 2010 at 6:33 pm4Reply to this comment.Yeah I’ve seen his post on the pocketables forums. His seems to be running much smoother. I’ve gotten better results since I last posted but its still far from perfect.
Do you have an N5 yet? Great device and all that is missing for me is the built in video out.
