I have been longing to replace my ancient netbook with a new UMPC for a long time. Since news of the UMID M1 came out I was sure that it was going to be the perfect replacement, however as the release got closer and the specs were released, the upgrade didn’t seem to be all that great and reading about the numerous complaints about the hinge issue ensured that I would not invest my money into the M1.

When news of the UMID M2; now known as the BZ, came out I was once again excited for some more information. However my hopes were crushed once again when I saw the specs and the colour scheme of the new device. The black and grey contrast made the device look unprofessional in my eyes and the specs weren’t all that appealing either.

The money I had saved up was just sitting there waiting for a perfect device to come out. When I saw the Viliv N5 I had no doubts that my money would be going to Viliv. Viliv have long been known for producing quality products that are made not only to look appealing but also made to last. Since the initial news of the N5 I have been constantly checking for updates and release information and after months of waiting, it seems like that wait is going to end real soon.

Dynamism is advertising a special event that they are holding in regards to the release of the Viliv N5. Not sure what it is yet but I’m just happy that the release is getting closer.

When I finally get this hot device in my hands I will be doing my first ever unboxing and will be doing a comprehensive review, so stay tuned.
